Violation Review and Site Inspection

Visual inspection of the cited condition by a licensed engineer. Includes documentation, measurements and field notes for follow-up reporting.

Field Engineer’s

Report

Signed and sealed engineering letter or memo based on inspection findings. Often used for DOB submission or to support contractor action.

Starting at: $400

Post-Correction Inspection (Follow-Up Visit)

Engineer returns after repair to confirm the work aligns with prior recommendations. Includes issuance of compliance letter or “work completed” memo.

Basic Violation

Filing

Includes violation review, preparation of engineering affidavit or letter, and submission of AEU-2/20 Certificate of Correction to DOB.

Price Range: $300–$600

Inspection +
Filing Combo Package

Includes site visit, violation assessment, photo documentation, engineering letter, and DOB submission package.

Price Range: $600–$1,200

Full Legalization

Package

Ideal for legalizing unpermitted work or change-of-use scenarios. Includes inspection, engineer letter, DOB drawings, calculations and filing support.

Price Range: $1,200–$2,500+

Fast Turnaround Available

ADJ Engineering, PLLC can often be on-site the same day or within 24 hours. All documents submitted to DOB, FDNY or other city agencies are signed, sealed and professionally prepared for code compliance.
